Kybella – No Surgery. No More Double Chin.
RR Aesthetics is proud to be the premier Kybella treatment center in the Los Angeles and Beverly Hills area.
Kybella is an exciting new treatment that can finally eliminate pesky submental fat, also known as the “double chin”.
What is Kybella?
Kybella is an injectable that breaks down stores of fat that cause double chins. The double chin used to be incredibly difficult to target and remove, but now, Kybella has arrived as the very first injectable prescription medication that effectively reduces submental fat. After Kybella, your double chin will be gone and replaced with a younger, sleeker, and firmer neck contour.
How does Kybella reduce the double chin?
Kybella (deoxycholic acid) is injected into the area underneath your chin using a specific injection pattern. Kybella’s advanced formula works by eliminating fat in the submental tissue; after that, the fat cells are naturally flushed from the body. Because Kybella also stops more fat stores from forming, Kybella results are permanent. Does Kybella have any side effects?
Kybella is the first injectable medication to be approved by the FDA for double chin treatment. A few temporary side effects associated with Kybella include bruising and pain in the injection area. It might be smart to plan on 7-10 days of downtime to ensure that all of the side effects have settled before you attend any social events. However, other side effects like numbness and residual swelling can remain for up to 4 weeks post-treatment.
Can I use Kybella in other areas?
So far, Kybella has only been approved by the FDA for treating submental fat. Kybella is so new to the market that off-label use for other cosmetic problems isn’t considered common practice or recommended at this time. If you have any more questions about Kybella results and use, then consult with a medical professional.
Who can perform Kybella treatments?
RR Aesthetics takes pride in our staff’s extensive training. Our nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician’s assistants have all been fully trained on how to safely and effectively administer Kybella. Each staff member has been personally and extensively trained by Rand Rusher, RN, who is certified by Allergan, the makers of Kybella, as a Kybella Trainer. Rest assured, you are in experienced hands.
