Xeomin® is another alternative to BOTOX® and Dysport® that is in the “freezer” category of injectables. The differences between these three types of injections are subtle but significant.
We’ve had extensive experience with all three. We know how to use them, and we know how they work in different areas of the face and neck. So, once we know what you want to accomplish, we’ll recommend the best injectable to help you do just that.
Like BOTOX and Dysport, we can start you off with a “softened” look using a low dosage. In this way, you can check it out until you see if you like it. If you do, you might want a slightly more dramatic result the next time.
You’ll never look “frozen,” though. We make sure that you have no problem making normal facial expressions.

What can Xeomin do for me?
Xeomin is most well-known for softening the “frown lines” between your eyebrows, but it’s effective in a number of areas – crow’s feet and other line around the eyes, forehead creases, upper lip lines, chin wrinkles and dimples, and wrinkles on the neck.
Do Xeomin injections hurt?
Injections always hurt a little bit, but don’t worry. The pain is over very fast, and it isn’t that bad. We even use a mild anesthetic cream to numb the injection areas slightly.
Plus, a member of our staff can hold your hand, or you can squeeze one of the toys we keep for that purpose. This can make the injections easier to handle if you’re worried about them or if you’re sensitive to needles.
How does Xeomin work?
Repeated facial expressions like squinting can cause muscle contractions that then result in wrinkles. The Xeomin injection decreases the contraction of the muscle, and the skin then becomes smoother, alleviating the wrinkle.
You won’t see the results right away, but you’ll begin to see them within a day or two. The results will continue to improve over a period of about two weeks.
How long do the injections last?
For a common dosage, the results will last 3-4 months. Smaller doses will last just the 3 months, and you can get Xeomin injections again after that time.
What is recovery like?
Recovery from Xeomin injections is virtually nonexistent. If you experience any effects at all, it should only be a slight bruise and mild soreness. These symptoms usually resolve within a day or two, and you can cover any bruising with makeup.
Is Xeomin safe?
Xeomin is very safe and consists of a very low and harmless dosage of botulinum A toxin.
Xeomin injections can be done concurrently with facial fillers to contour your face and create a Liquid Facelift.
